Track and Field Completes Second Day of Competition at Indiana State

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Marquette University track and field wrapped up its second day of competition at the Gibson Invitational & Multi on Friday.

Tessa Hollander finished third in the javelin throwing 39.14m/128ft 5in, good for the eighth longest throw in program history.

Grace Mager finished fourth in the javelin throw with a mark of 38.01m/124ft 8in.

Gianna Konen finished 19th in the 5000m with a PR of 18:28.74.

Cole Donahe finished first in the javelin throw (53.16m/174ft 5in) and 1500m (4:38.07) in the second day of decathlon events. The sophomore finished seventh overall with 5,928 points.

Mila Puseljic finished 10th in the heptathlon with 4,159 points. The senior finished sixth in the high jump with a mark of 1.53m and finished seventh in the 200m (26.33) and 800m (2:40.58).

Caleb Venzke finished 10th in the javelin throw with a mark of 48.81m.

NOTABLES:

Emily Capper set a new PR in the 1500m with a time of 19:04.23.
Logan Goodman set a new PR in the 5000m with a time of 15:22.24.
