CAYCE, S.C. - The Marquette University women's tennis team dropped a 4-1 team decision to top-seeded Xavier Saturday morning in the Quarterfinals of BIG EAST Tennis Championships.
In doubles action MU chipped in the doubles point by taking a 7-6 win by Lara Kaiser/Andie Weise at No. 1 and a 6-4 victory at No. 2 by Emma Davis/Tiana Windbuchler.
The Musketeers took four of the six singles matches in straight set fashion to earn the clinch for a 4-1 victory.
