Track And Field Wraps Up Competition in Wisconsin And Texas Saturday

Marquette University track and field competed at the Cameron Burrell Alumni Invite and the WI Private College Invitational on Saturday.

The Golden Eagles had multiple runners finish in the top ten in the 400m. Zachariah Murray finished sixth at 49.23 seconds. Danny Olsen finished seventh at 49.77 seconds. Christian Peterson finished ninth at 50.79 seconds.

Gus Kasun finished fourth in the Javelin throw with a mark of 49.73m. Kasun also finished ninth in the long jump with a mark of 6.45m.

Daylee Braden finished seventh in the women's 400m at 56.35 seconds. Siani Brown-Carr finished sixth with a time of 12.56 seconds in the 100m. Kaylee Hopp finished seventh in the long jump with a mark of 5.50m. Hopp also placed fourth in the triple jump with a 11.48m leap.

Marquette swept the podium in the women's javelin throw. Tessa Hollander placed first with a throw of 38.47m, which ranks number ten all-time in Marquette history. Grace Mager finished second with a throw of 38.08m. Riley Ward placed third with a throw of 35.30m.

Annika Bynum placed second in the high jump with a mark of 1.65m. Natalia Jackowski tied with two others for third in the high jump, with a mark of 1.55m.

Thomas Leonard finished fifth in the 1500m race with a time of 4:08.39. Sean Kellogg followed him up in sixth place with a mark of 4:08.39. Ronald Walters finished in seventh with a time of 4:10.22.

K.T. Thomas placed fifth in the 400m race at 51.78 seconds. Sebastian Obrzut finished fifth in the 200m at 22.63 seconds. Owen Peterson finished sixth in the 400m hurdles at 1:00.50. Talon Gamez finished sixth in the 800m with a time of 1:59.20. Josh Pirogovsky finished seventh in the shot put with a mark of 13.23m.

Stephanie Mauzer finished sixth in the 800m with a time of 2:30.87. Alexa Overstreet finished in eighth in the 800m, with a time of 2:31.50. Emily Capper finished eighth in the 5000m at 19:35.14. Addison Pischke finished seventh in the women's 400m with a time of 1:03.22. Sylvia Fochesato finished fifth in the women's 400m hurdles with a time of 1:11.49.

Emma Kingsley finished fourth in the pole vault at 3.06m. Norah O' Brien finished seventh in the 200m at 27.04 seconds. Mila Puseljic finished tenth in the 200m at 27.47 seconds.

Marquette had two runners place top-three in both 1500m races.

David Zeller finished first in the men's 1500m race with a time of 3:57.74. David Ramirez placed third in the pole vault at 3.96m. Caleb Venzke placed second in the javelin throw at 49.07m. Cole Donahe placed third in the javelin throw at 47.89m.

Lexi Keppler placed second in the women's 1500m with a time of 4:48.14.
Norah O' Brien finished first in the 400m race with a time of 1:00.77. Addison Pischke placed third in the 200m at 26.05 seconds. Claudia Millan placed second in the high jump with a 1.55m mark.
