Mason Woodward is a four-time USILA All-American

Woodward is MU's first four-time All-America selection

LOUISVILLE, Kentucky – Marquette University men's lacrosse defenseman Mason Woodward was named to the 2024 Blatant Lacrosse USILA Division I All-America Third Team, becoming the first four-time USILA All-American in program history, it was announced on Thursday morning by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association.
Woodward is Marquette's only four-time team captain and four-time USILA All-American, who was a unanimous choice to the All-BIG EAST Conference First Team at close defense. He ended his college career as MU's all-time leader with 265 career ground balls and ranks second in program history with 84 caused turnovers.
The native of Towson, Maryland paced MU in caused turnovers (18) for the fourth time in 2024, while picking up 53 ground balls and posting three points on a pair of goals and an assist. He notched 13 points on nine goals and four assists in 59 career games.
Woodward earned All-America status earlier this month from Inside Lacrosse (third team) and USA Lacrosse Magazine (honorable mention).
He and Ryan McNamara are MU's only multiple time USILA All-America selections and Woodward is the only MU player to earn a third or fourth honor.
