
BIG EAST Releases 2024-25 Championship and Fall TV Schedule

Home MU Athletics events will once again appear on FloSports
NEW YORK – The BIG EAST Conference announced the dates and sites of the Olympic sports championships for the 2024-25 academic year. Additionally, the BIG EAST has announced that FOX Sports will feature two Marquette University women's volleyball matches on FS1 this fall, in addition to championship coverage. All 22 BIG EAST Championships, including the Men's and Women's Basketball Tournaments, are Presented by JEEP.
All home Marquette Athletics home events not on linear TV will air live on FloSports. Marquette fans can subscribe to FloSports today by registering here.

Starting in early September, FS1 will televise a non-conference volleyball match. On Thursday, Sept. 5, defending BIG EAST tournament champion Creighton hosts USC at D.J. Sokol Arena at 7 p.m. ET, in what is expected to be a top-25 showdown. The following month, coverage will continue in Omaha with Creighton volleyball welcoming reigning BIG EAST regular season champion Marquette to D.J. Sokol Arena, with the match scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 1 at 7 p.m. on FS1.

On Sunday, Nov. 10, Creighton and Marquette will once again square off in a conference tilt, with the match scheduled to air on FS1 or FS2 at Al McGuire Center in Milwaukee.

Postseason coverage begins on FS1 the same day, with the women's soccer title game scheduled for 11 a.m.

The format of the BIG EAST women's soccer championship will have the No. 3 seed hosting the No. 6 seed and the No. 4 seed hosting the No. 5 seed in the first round on Sunday, Nov. 3. The semifinals and championship game will return to the Maryland SoccerPlex in Boyds, Md., for the third straight year. The semifinals will take place on Thursday, Nov. 7.

The BIG EAST men's soccer championship field remains eight teams for the second consecutive season. Quarterfinal action will get underway on Saturday, Nov. 11, with the top four seeds hosting matches. The semifinals will return to the Maryland SoccerPlex on Thursday, Nov. 14. The championship game will air on FS2 at 12 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 17.

The first round and semifinals of both the men's and women's soccer championships, along with the semifinals and championship for field hockey will stream on the BIG EAST Digital Network on FloSports Presented by Invesco QQQ (BEDN). Overall, approximately 75 BIG EAST events will stream on BEDN and nearly 300 events on FloSports through the fall.
The volleyball championship will be played at D.J. Sokol Arena, hosted by Creighton. Six teams will compete for a BIG EAST title, with the top-two seeds earning a first-round bye. First round action will begin Wednesday, Nov. 27 with the No. 3 seed and No. 6 seed squaring off, along with the No. 4 seed taking on the No. 5 seed. The pair of winners will advance to the semifinals on Friday, Nov. 29 and the opening four matchups will stream live on BEDN. The championship game will then air on FS2 on Saturday, Nov. 30. A start time will be announced at a later date.

The BIG EAST Cross Country Championships will be hosted by Georgetown at Morven Park in Leesburg, Va., on Nov. 1. The men's and women's races will stream on BEDN.

For the winter, the Indoor Track & Field Championships will return to the Dr. Conrad Worrill Track and Field Center in Chicago and be hosted by DePaul for the fourth consecutive year on Friday, Feb. 28 and Saturday, March 1. The BIG EAST Swimming and Diving Championships will head to SPIRE Academy in Geneva, Ohio. The championships will take place Wednesday, Feb. 26 through Saturday, March 1. The spring postseason events kick off with the men's and women's tennis championships starting Thursday, April 17 and finishing on Sunday, April 20 in Cayce, S.C., at the Cayce Tennis Center. It will be the ninth consecutive year at Cayce. The women's golf championship will take place simultaneously, Saturday, April 19 through April 21 at Riverton Pointe Country Club in Hardeeville, S.C. The men's golf championship follows, going Saturday, April 26 through Monday, April 28 at Callawassie Island in Okatie, S.C.

Both the men's and women's lacrosse championships will be held Thursday, May 1 and Saturday, May 3. The women's lacrosse championship will be hosted by Villanova at Villanova Stadium, while the men's lacrosse championship will be hosted by Denver at Peter Barton Stadium.

The outdoor track & field championships heads to Storrs, Conn., as UConn will host the conference meet Thursday, May 15 through Saturday, May 17.
