O'Grady is fifth among active NCAA Division I players with 142 career goals

NEW YORK — Marquette University men's lacrosse men's lacrosse senior attackman Bobby O'Grady is on the BIG EAST Conference Weekly Honor Roll, it was announced on Monday afternoon.
O'Grady scored four goals and added a pair of assists for a six-point day in a one-goal loss at Villanova, 14-13, on Saturday. O'Grady's final score gave MU a 13-11 lead with 4:22 remaining in regulation The native of Milton, Massachusetts has scored at least four goals in 19 career games and he is fifth among active NCAA Division I players with 142 career scores.
The recognition is the fourth weekly accolade of the season for O'Grady, who last earned the honor on March 31 for scoring four goals MU's 13-8 win over St. John's.
The Golden Eagles host Denver at 6 p.m. Central time on Friday and the program will honor its 14 senior student-athletes and three team managers prior to the contest in the stadium at Valley Fields.
