
Tennis Program Holds Annual Awards Banquet

Jarmond and Roegner Named Most Valuable Players
MILWAUKEE – The Marquette University men's and women's tennis programs honored six players at their annual awards banquet, following the conclusion of the 2024–25 campaign.
Junior Blake Roegner claimed his second Most Valuable Player Award on the men's side after leading the team with 10 total singles victories in dual competition, playing primarily at the No. 1 spot. He also earned six victories in dual doubles action.
For the women's team, senior Tiera Jarmond claimed the Most Valuable Player Award. She finished with nine singles victories in dual competition while competing majority at the No. 1 position in the lineup.
The Most Improved Player Awards were claimed by two freshmen: Cyrus Ahmad and Joelle Fiallo Schad. Fiallo Schad concluded the season with seven singles victories and recorded six wins in doubles action. On the men's side, Ahmad matched the team best with 10 singles victories, playing mostly at the No. 2 position.
Junior Teddy Wong, who is studying finance, earned the Men's Academic Award. Freshman Luciana Mendoza, who is double majoring in supply chain and marketing earned the Women's Academic Award.
