Cross Country Announces 2025 Schedule

Golden Eagles open 2025 season in Kenosha at Vic Godfrey Invitational
MILWAUKEE – Marquette University second-year associate head cross country coach Jack Hackett announced the 2025 cross country schedule on Tuesday.
"The schedule is a small progression from last year." Hackett said. "We'll keep things close to start and gradually we travel further and get bigger competition. The Joe Piane Invitational is a new meet for us, and we'll see many of the best teams in the country, plus quite a few of our regional competition. It'll be a great chance to see where we are, and then Bradley we've been going to for a few years, so we'll have something to compare against there. I am hopeful for a big improvement at Big East and Regionals."
Marquette stays close to home for its first two meets at the Vic Godfrey Invitational in Kenosha (Sept. 5) and the Badger Classic in Madison (Sept. 19).
The Golden Eagles head to Notre Dame for the Joe Piane Classic (Oct. 3) and the Bradley Pink Classic (Oct. 17) in Peoria, Illinois for their final tune-ups before the conference championship.
The 2025 BIG EAST Cross Country Championships are Friday, Oct. 31 at the Olsson Cross Country Course in Ashland, Nebraska.
