Athletics Golf Outing Raises Over $50K To Support Student-Athletes

45th annual event presented by the M Club was August 3
The 45th Annual Marquette Athletics Golf Outing, presented by the M Club, raised over $50K to support the university's current student athletes, making the August 3 event at the Wisconsin Country Club one of the most successful in department history.
Nearly 120 participants were on the course on a picture-perfect day and the funds raised were a product of event registration, sponsorships and a silent auction.
The day's activities outside of golf included lunch and dinner, a complimentary cocktail hour and silent auction during the dinner program. Prizes were awarded for on-course competitions and student-athletes from multiple sports were on site throughout the day.
The winning group of Corey White, Matt Froemming, Bryan White and Kevin Ryan featured a pair of track & field/cross country alums.
The primary mission of the "M" Club is to provide support for Marquette Athletics and to encourage camaraderie among its alumni letterwinners.
The 46th annual event is scheduled for Monday, Aug. 2, 2027 back at the Wisconsin Country Club.
