2010: Saw action in 14 games as a reserve ... Tallied four assists ... Registered her first assist of the season on Ally Miller[apos]s game-winning goal in a 4-0 win over Cincinnati (10/15) ... Provided two assists, including the game winner, in a 4-3 overtime win against Louisville (10/17) ... Added an assist of Lindsey Page[apos]s goal against St. John[apos]s (10/24) ... Named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll (10/18).
2009: Saw action as a reserve in 22 games. Totaled four points on two goals for the season. Scored first collegiate goal against Green Bay, the game winner, and ignited MU[apos]s offense with its first goal of the game in a 3-2 come-from-behind win over Connecticut. Recorded 17 shots with eight on frame.
2008: A valuable defensive reserve who played in 20 games. Assisted Becky Ryan[apos]s goal in 2-1 win over St. John[apos]s (Oct. 10). Took seven shots, including two on net.
2007: Freshman defender saw time in five contests in 2007, three of which were shutouts. Took one shot on the season against Rhode Island (Sept. 16).
Prior to Marquette: Vasos earned four letters at Nicolet where she was the team[apos]s leading goal scorer each season ... She earned all-state and all-area honors in 2007 while helping Nicolet to reach the sectional semifinals ... Vasos was a First Team All-Northshore Conference selection in 2006 and 2007, a Second Team All-Northshore honoree in 2005 and earned all-conference honorable mention accolades in 2004 ... Vasos played club soccer for the seven-time Wisconsin State Cup Champions FC Milwaukee from 2003-06 and played for the Wisconsin Olympic Development State Team from 2003-07 .. Vasos excelled in the classroom as she was a two-time Nicolet Scholar Athlete (2006-07) and was one of seven student-athletes to be awarded the Glenn A. Kukla Memorial Scholarship - one of Nicolet[apos]s most prestigious awards.
Personal: Vasos is the daughter of Steve and Joni Vasos ... She has one sister Tina who was a diver at Carroll College ... Vasos is criminology and law studies major.
