Outdoor (Sr.): An All-BIG EAST Selection … Jump a season-best mark in the long jump with a mark of 6.94 meters/22 feet, 9.25 inches at the Bryan Clay Invitational (Apr. 13) … Earned the bronze medal as a member of the 4x100 that ran a time of 41.25 at the BIG EAST Championships (May 13).
Indoor (Sr.): An All-BIG EAST Selection … Saw action in five meets competing in the 60 meters and long jump … Took third in the 60m at the Blue & Gold Invitational (Dec. 3) with a season-best time of 6.94 … Recorded a season-best mark in the long jump at the Blue Demon Holiday Invite (Dec. 10) with a jump of 7.07 meters/23 feet, 2.5 inches to take fourth overall … Won the bronze medal in the 60m at the BIG EAST Championships (Feb. 25) with a time of 6.95.

Indoor: Competed at three meets during the indoor season and set a new personal record in the triple jump on Feb. 26 at the DePaul BIG EAST Triangular at a distance of 14.99 meters (49-2.25), also the No. 4 all-time mark in program history ... Also ran once in the 60 and competed in the long jump.
Outdoor (Jr.): Placed third at the BIG EAST Championships in the men's long jump at a distance of 7.30 meters/ 23-11.5 to earn all-conference honors ... Won the long jump at the Miami Hurricane Invitational on April 9 and recorded a new personal-best mark of 7.40 meters (24-3.5), also the No. 4 mark in program history ... Also competed twice in the 100 meters, setting a new PR of 10.71 seconds on May 1 at the Marquette Invitational.
2019-20:

Indoor (Jr.): Won the long jump (7.12 m/23-4.5 ft), triple jump (14.39 m/47-2.5 ft) and 60-meter dash (6.80; No. 1 all-time at MU) at the John Tierney Classic on Jan. 18 ... Took fifth in the long jump at the GVSU Big Meet (Feb. 14) with a mark of 6.82 m/22-4.5 ft ... Took second at the Panther Tune-Up (Feb. 22) in the 60-meter dash (6.90) and long jump (7.11 m/23-4 ft) ... Took all-conference honors in the 60-meter dash (6.86, third place) and triple jump (14.90/48-10.75 ft, second place).

Won the GVSU Big Meet triple jump (14.64 m/48-0.5 ft) and Badger Red & White Classic long jump (7.16 m/23-6 ft)... BIG EAST Champion in the long jump (7.15 m/23-5.5 ft) and runner-up in the triple jump (14.55 m/47-9 ft).
Outdoor (So.): Competed in nine outdoor meets... Won gold at the Marquette Invitational (triple jump; 14.27m/46-10 ft), Illinois Twilight (long jump; 7.07 m/23-2.5 ft) and Marquette Mid-Week Challenge (4x100; 41.70)... Set personal records on the way to All-BIG EAST honors in the triple jump (first place; 15.50 m/50-10.25 ft) and long jump (third place; 7.20 m/23-7.5 ft)... Placed second in triple jump (14.32m/ 46-11.75 feet) at the 2017 Blue and Gold Invitational and fifth in long jump (6.83m/ 22-5 feet) ... Placed second in long jump (7.03m/ 23-0.75 feet) and triple jump (14.65m/ 48-0.75 feet) at the John Tierney Classic ... Notched first in long jump at the Shell Shocker Meet with a distance of 6.87 meters (22-6.5 feet).

Prior to Marquette: Lettered in track and field at Statesville Senior High School in Statesville, N.C. where he was a two-time all-state honoree, three-time all-region selection and earned all-conference honors four times, including as a two-time triple jump runner-up and two-time long jump champion ... Was named Iredell County MVP twice.
Personal: Johnson was born in Mooresville, N.C. to Tollis and Barbara Johnson ... Has three siblings, Tollis, Shirley and Jayda ... Plans to major in exercise physiology.
