Indoor (So.): Saw action in six meets, running the 55, 60 and 200 meters ā¦ Clocked a personal best of 6.80 in the 55 meters at the Tadd Metzger Invitational on Feb. 4 ā¦ Placed fourth in the 60 meters with a personal best 7.25 and finished runner-up in the 200 meters with a time of 23.54 at the Badger Valentine Invitational (Feb. 17) ā¦ Ran a personal best of 23.13 in the 200 meters at the BIG EAST Championships on Feb. 24, finished 18th. Also, finished 18th in the 60 meters with a time of 7.28.

Indoor (Fr.): Saw action in seven meets in his first season with MU ā¦ Ran a personal best 23.54 in the 200 meters at the Blue & Gold Invitational (Dec. 3) ā¦ Recorded a PR 6.80 in the 55 meters at the Parkside Classic (Feb. 4-5), finished sixth overall ā¦ Ran a PR 7.30 in the 60 meters at the St. Valentines Open (Feb. 18) finishing seventh.
Prior to Marquette: Lettered three times in track and field at Wheaton North High School under coaches Don Helberg and Nathan Roe ā¦ Also, lettered two times in both basketball and golf ā¦ Named to the All-Conference team as a senior in both track and field and basketball in 2021 ā¦ Qualified for the State Championships in the 4x200 relay ā¦ Helped the Falcons to a Dukane Conference Championship in his sophomore year in 2019 ā¦ Awarded the Bill Brown Competitive Spirit Award, given to a student-athlete who displays the most desire, competitive spirit, never quits, and goes beyond normal practice hours.

Personal: Cascella was born March 15, 2003 in Winfield, Illinois to Mike and Rebecca Cascella ā¦ He has one older brother, Michael ā¦ Majoring in biomedical engineering.
