2010-2011:Competed in the mile and 3,000- and 5,000- meter runs during the indoor season ... Best time of three 3,000 races was 8:51.53 at the Milwaukee Dual (Jan. 22) ... Notched a top time of 9:44.07 in the 3,000-meter steeplechase during the outdoor season at the Dr. Keeler Invitational on May 13 ... Won the steeplechase at the DePaul Invitational (April 16) with a time of 9:46.30 ... Also competed once each in the 800, 1,500- and 5,000-meter runs during the outdoor campaign.
Prior to Marquette: A three-time letterwinner in both track and field and cross country, Chris Spudic was also a two-time captain in both sports. As a senior, Spudic finished fifth in the state cross country meet, helping his team to a fourth-place finish, in addition to winning the conference championship. Spudic also earned all-conference, all-area and all-region honors as a junior. He also qualified for the state track meet in 2009 in the 3,200-meter run.
