2019-20 Season Notes (R-Sr.): One of two players to start all 30 games (finished career playing in 99-straight outings) … Concluded the year ranked 15th in the BIG EAST in scoring (13.1 ppg.) and ninth in 3-point field goal percentage (.392) … Reached double figures in points on 20 occasions … Posted 11 points, four rebounds and four assists in the season opener against Loyola Maryland (Nov. 5) ... Led MU with 21 points against then-No. 5/8 Maryland (Dec. 1) in the Orlando Invitational championship game ... Collected 12 points versus LSU in the Maui Jam Maui Invitational (Nov. 22) ... Notched 14 points at No. 1 Villanova (Jan. 6) ... Turned in a strong effort against No. 1 Villanova, notching 14 points, three assists and three rebounds (Jan. 28) ... Posted 15 points in 26 minutes against Butler (Jan. 31) ... Played in a total of 16 games, including eight in BIG EAST play, during the regular season of his freshman campaign and posted 1.2 points per game ... Saw first career action in the season opener against Belmont (Nov. 13), in which he posted two points, two rebounds and a pair of steals in 10 minutes ... Scored four points on 2-of-3 shooting against both Grambling State (Dec. 2) and Maine (Dec. 5) ... Notched four points and two blocks in seven minutes against Grambling State (Dec. 2) ... Played a season-high 11 minutes in a win against Maine (Dec. 5) and tallied four points and two boards ... Recorded three points and one rebound in nine minutes of action in a loss vs. DePaul (Jan. 20).
High School: Tabbed the Associated Press Player of the Year in Minnesota as a senior after helping DeLaSalle High School to a record-tying fourth-straight state championship under head coach Dave Thorson ... Islanders defeated St. Paul Johnson in the Class 3A title game and he chipped in 32 points in the contest ... Averaged 25.0 points and 8.0 rebounds per game in 2014-15 and was the division's top scorer in the state tournament, earning him a spot on the all-tourney roster ... Three-time all-conference selection, four-year letterwinner and three-year starter at DeLaSalle ... Program also claimed the league title each of his four seasons and lost only one conference matchup during his tenure ... Played with the Howard Pulley Panthers in the Nike EYBL and he was selected to play in the Minnesota State Basketball Coaches All-Star Game after his senior year.
