Danielle Young is entering her second year asΒ Head Coach of the Marquette Dance Team in the 2026-27 season.Β
Β
Young earned her bachelor'sΒ degree from UW-Madison in human development and family studies. She then continued her studies at the University of San Diego, completing her master's in counseling.Β
Β
During her time at Madison, she was a collegiate dancer in both the Dance Elite Club team and the UW Dance Team, which placedΒ top 10 at UDA nationals.Β
Β
Young has professional dance experience with the Milwaukee Brewers Diamond Dancers, worked as a Badgerette Pom Pon staff member and camp instructor for 3 years, and hasΒ worked as a regional pom and dance judge for over a decade.Β
Β
Young currently resides in Milwaukee with her three young boys and works as a College and Career Counselor at St. Thomas More High School in Milwaukee. Β
