The 2016-17 season marks the first for Megan Janezic as a volunteer assistant coach for both cross country programs under head coach Mike Nelson.
Janezic was a four-time All-Conference honoree as a member of the Loyola University Chicago cross country team. She recorded two top-10 finishes at the conference championships, taking seventh place to earn First Team All-Horizon League as a junior and a ninth place as a senior to earn first team accolades in the team's first season in the Missouri Valley Conference. Was named Newcomer of the Year after taking 16th place overall at the Horizon League Championships as a freshman.
The Libertyville, Illinois native graduated from Loyola-Chicago in 2014 with a degree in psychology and a minor in biology. She is currently enrolled in Marquette's Master's in Leadership program in the School of Business Administration.
