Indoor: Ran the mile and 3,000-meter run once each during the indoor campaign and earned event victories in each ... Ran a 4:18.70 mile on Feb. 14 at the UWM Panther Tune-Up ... Ran a 3k time of 8:46.53 in the UW-Parkside Triangular #1 on Feb. 6.

Cross Country (Fr): Competed in four meets in his debut season... Placed third for Marquette and 12th over all in the Open National Catholic Invitational race (5 mi; 27:39.4)... Placed second for Marquette at the UW-Parkside Lucian Rosa Open, 12th out of all the runners after finishing the 8k course in 27:11.2.

Prior to Marquette: Peterson earned seven letters between track and cross country at Fremd High School... Served as cross country team captain his senior year... Claimed three conference and two regional titles during his high school cross country career... Won conference titles in both the 1,600-meter run and 4x800 relay in 2017... Qualified for state in three events his senior year (1,600-meter run, 4x400 and 4x800 relays)... Helped team claim the 2017 sectional championship... Holds the fourth-fastest time in school history in the 1,600-meter run and was a member of the second-fastest 4x800 relay in school history.
