At the same meet, Cavanaugh placed 10th in the 1,500 after finishing at the 4:10.08 mark.
Cross Country (So): Took 14th place and was the third Marquette runner to cross the line at the UW-Parkside Lucian Rosa Open 8k (27:14.5) ... Finished in the top-50 at 45th in the 8k at Vic Godfrey Open (27:00.2) ... Placed 35th in the opening meet of the season at Lewis University finishing the 6k in 20:03.12.

Indoor (Fr.): Competed in the 600-meter race, mile, 3,000-meter run and 4x400 relay in the indoor season ... Earned second place at the UW Parkside Fall Finale in the 600-meter race with a time of 1:30.18, a personal best ... Also took second with his 4x400 relay squad at the Wisconsin SHELL Shocker (3:36.64) ... Recorded third place at the UW Parkside Classic in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 9:05.78.
Outdoor (Fr.): At the BIG EAST Outdoor Championships, placed 17th in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 4:07.11 ...
