2023 Season: Scored first career goal at Marquette in season opener versus Lindenwood (Feb. 4) ... Picked up 3 ground balls and caused a turnover in road victory over Detroit Mercy (March 1).
Prior to Marquette: Surd played two years of men's lacrosse at Harford Community College in Bel Air, Maryland in the spring of 2021 and 2022 ... Recorded 75 career points (50 goals, 25 assists) in 22 career games at HCC ... Posted 29 goals and 20 assists for 49 points in his final season at Harford in 2022 with three man-up scores and one game winner ... Began his college career at NCAA Division II Colorado Mesa, where he was on the Mavs roster for the 2019 campaign, recording 10 points (six goals, four assists) in 12 games, while making three starts as a true freshman.
