2023 Season (R-Sr.): Started all 14 games at close defense and ended the year with 22 ground balls, 11 caused turnovers and three goals ... Picked up four ground balls and tailed first goal of the season in win over Michigan (Feb. 25) ... Caused two turnovers and picked up three ground balls in victory over then-No. 5 Penn State (March 18) ... Tailed a goal while picking up four ground balls and causing a turnover in home win over St. Bonaventure (March 25).
2022 Season (R-Jr.): Started all seven games in which he played, recording 18 ground balls and causing 13 turnovers ... Picked up a career-high seven ground balls and caused two turnovers at No. 19/18 Denver (April 29) ... Caused three turnovers against both Utah (Feb. 26) and Villanova (April 23) ... Missed eight games in the middle of the season after sustaining a broken foot.
2021 Season (R-So.): All-BIG EAST Second Team ... Started all 12 games at close defense, finishing second on the team in caused turnovers (16) and third in ground balls (25) ... Scored twice and added a pair of assists ... Scored first career goal against Villanova (Feb. 27) and added an assist ... Scored in back-to-back games with transition goal at No. 4 Georgetown (March 6) while picking up four ground balls ... Tied a career high by causing three turnovers against Providence (March 13) ... Set a new career high with five ground balls in four overtime win at Providence (April 17).
2020 Season (RS - COVID): Started all seven games at close defense, while picking up 16 ground balls and causing eight turnovers ... Picked up two ground balls and caused two turnovers in first career start at Cleveland State (Feb. 1) ... Scooped up three ground balls against Bellarmine (Feb. 8) ... Caused three turnovers and notched four ground balls against Robert Morris (March 7).
2019 Season (RS): Did not see action in 2019 due to injury and received a medical redshirt.
2018 Season (Fr.): Saw action in five games as a true freshman ... Grabbed a ground ball in his first career game for Marquette against Detroit (Feb. 24) ... Scooped up three ground balls in the double-overtime game versus Bellarmine (March 4).
Prior to Marquette: Granger earned four letters in lacrosse at Penncrest High School, where he served as a team captain as a senior … Earned second team All-Central League honors as a senior in 2017 as well as honorable mention All-Delco accolades … Also All-Delco as a junior … Member of a 2014 squad that went 25-1 alongside brother Ryan to capture a state championship … Won Central League championships as a freshman (2014) and sophomore (2015).
Personal: Born March 19, 1999 in Media, Pennsylvania to Dave and Diane Granger … Older brother Ryan (Marquette, '20) was also on the MU lacrosse team and served as an undergraduate assistant coach after redshirting as a freshman … Earned a bachelor of arts in history from Marquette and earned a master's in the graduate school of management... Member of Chi Alpha Sigma honor society ... Peer leader for SHAPE (Student Health Allies & Peer Educators) ... While at MU, participated in mental health and wellness workshops on empathy, active listening and leading difficult discussions ...
