Shot a 6-over 222 (74-77-71) at the Calusa Cup to finish tied for 19th place overall ... Shot par-or-better in at least two round in five events on the season ... Tallied a 1-over 216 (73-74-70) at the BIG EAST Championship as Marquette's No. 3 finisher to tie for 13th place overall ... Averaged a score of 72.31 per round.
2020-21 (R-So.): Competed in all six events with four No. 3 finishes among the Golden Eagles ... Recorded four rounds under par and a total of six at par-or-better, including a 1-under 71 in the first round of the BIG EAST Championship ... Tied for 18th and was third on MU at the BIG EAST Championship (April 26-28) at Streamsong Resort - Blue Course with an 8-over 224 (71-76-77) ... Posted best 54-hole score (220) of the spring on April 17-18 at Finkbine Golf Course in Iowa City, Iowa in the Hawkeye Invitational (+4, 72-72-76) ... In addition to the BIG EAST tournament, was also MU's No. 3 finisher at The Prestige (PGA West - Norman Course) on Feb. 15-17, the Hootie at Bulls Bay (Bulls Bay Golf Club) on March 28-30 and The Calusa Cup (Calusa Pines) on April 4-6.
2019-20 (So. - COVID): Leach earned his first collegiate win on Oct. 14-15 at the Crooked Stick Invitational at Crooked Stick Golf Club, site of the 1991 PGA Championship with the lowest 54-hole score of his career, 6-under 210 (68-68-74) ... Leach also earned BIG EAST Male Golfer of the Week on Oct. 17 for the first time in his career for his play at Crooked Stick ... The win was his fourth career top-10 finish and the third time he had finished a tournament under par ... Finished as MU's No. 2 golfer at each of the first four events of the year before his win at Crooked Stick ... Began the season with a 3-over 216 (67-70-79) at the Gopher Invitational on Sept. 8-9 to tie for 19th ... Recorded a 2-under 211 (72-72-67) at the Windon Memorial Classic at Conway Farms after posting a final round 4-under 67 on Sept. 17 ... Tied for 33rd at the Trinity Forest Invitational with a 1-over 214 with a 2-under 69 second round and an even-par 71 in the final round ... Tied for 40th at the Marquette Intercollegiate at Erin Hills with a 7-over 223 ... Finished in MU's top-two in six of seven tournaments the Golden Eagles played in 2019-20.
2018-19 (Fr.): Marquette's third straight rookie to earn BIG EAST Freshman of the Year honors... Started all 10 events in MU's 5-man lineup... Finished second among lineup players in three events, including MU's win at the Windon Memorial Classic with an even par 216 (70-75-71) - made 39 tournament pars at Knollwood Club while his birdies on two of the last three tournament holes helped Marquette hold off Michigan State by two strokes for the win... Was one of four players in the red in the final round of the 2019 BIG EAST Championship with a 2-under-par 70, finishing seventh in his first championship appearance with a 3-over-par 219 (78-71-70) - he had 12 birdies in 54 holes at Callawassie, second-most in the championship, including three in the final round to help MU win the title... Posted his first career top-10 finish with a 3-under-par 213 (69-73-71) at the Chatham Hills Collegiate... Played the first two rounds and shot a pair of 79s at the NCAA Austin Regional.
High School/Junior: Shot a second round 2-under-par 70 (80-70--150) to rally from T-9 and win his second career WIAA Division 3 individual state championship at University Ridge G.C. in June of 2018... Was ranked No. 1 in Wisconsin according to Junior Golf Scoreboard and the AJGA in 2017... Collected wins in 13 of his 14 events during the 2017 season at Spring Valley with all but three rounds at par or better; two-time WIAA First Team All-State selection (2016, 2017)... Finished tied for third at the 2017 WIAA Boys Division 3 State Championships (76-76-152) at University Ridge; won the Cadott Sectional with a 3-under-par 69 at Whispering Pines G.C.... Won WIAA Division 3 state championship in 2016 (73-73-146) at University Ridge... Member of Team Wisconsin in the MN-WI PGA Junior Cup matches in 2016 and 2017, along with current Marquette starter Hunter Eichhorn... Finished tied for second (72-69-72-213) at the WSGA Junior Boys Championship Aug 7-9, 2017 at the Legend at Bristlecone, a stroke behind Eichhorn.
