Prior to Marquette: LoMedico played three seasons of varsity lacrosse at C.W. Baker High School, where he was team captain as a senior in 2025 … Scored 33 goals and added 12 assists in 17 games as a senior … First team All-CNY and all-league in 2025 … Helped squad state, league, regional and sectional crowns … Played club lacrosse for Orange Crush 2025 … Also ran two seasons of indoor varsity track and played one season of soccer at C.W. Baker.

Personal: LoMedico was born in Syracuse, New York and is the son of Salvatore and Meow … Has a younger sister … Mother was a distance runner at Syracuse University … Plans to major in accounting … Full first name is Ignazio, but nickname is the same as Marquette’s Golden Eagle mascot, Iggy.

Why Marquette? The beautiful campus and home feeling when I visited. Also, the coaching staff was very welcoming and felt like a second family to me.
