Prior to Marquette: Teff played four years of boys’ lacrosse at Middleton High School, where he was a two-time all-state selection and holds the career points (284) and assists (101) records … Helped the Cardinals to a 2024 state championship and was the team’s offensive player of the year in 2023 … Two-time team captain … Played club ball for Alpha Lacrosse under head coach Mike Storts … Also played four years of football at Middleton and was a team captain as a senior … In football holds the Middleton career and single season program records for catches, yards and touchdowns.

Personal: Teff was born in Middleton, Wisconsin and is the son of Derek and Rachel Teff … Has an older brother, Drew … Father played football at the U.S. Naval Academy and mother was a softball player at Wisconsin-Parkside … He and classmate Parker Leslie will be the eighth and ninth native Wisconsinite to suit up for the Golden Eagles (Logan Kreinz, Quintin Arnett, Ryan Condon, Moey Lardy, Nolan Rappis, Jordan Schmid, Adam Slager).
