2006: Walton was Marquette[apos]s most active midfielder in terms of assists in 2006. He recorded three assists on the year, all of which came in the first three games in which he played. He recorded an assist on the game winning goal at Loyola (Ill.) (Aug. 25). He missed action for the next four contests, but picked up another assist in MU[apos]s contest against USF (Sept. 10). He followed that up with his third assist in the game against Wis.-Milwaukee (Sept. 13). The three assists were a career high.

2005: Walton became more of a presence on the team in 2005 as his playing time increased from his first two seasons. Playing in all 17 matches as a junior, Walton became a versatile addition to the MU lineup. He took six shots and recorded one assist, aiding a goal in a 2-1 win over Louisville (Sept. 25). He really broke through in the spring, becoming a goal scoring threat in the exhibition season.

2004: A speedy sophomore, Walton saw time in five matches for Marquette. He contributed in Marquette[apos]s 3-1 win over Wis.-Green Bay (Oct. 6).

2003: One of 14 freshmen, Walton earned a respectable amount of time in his first season. A participant in 10 matches, Walton proved to be a solid defender in his first season in the blue and gold.

Prior to Marquette: Walton earned four letters playing at Dominican High School. He helped lead the resurgence of Dominican[apos]s soccer program, including helping the team receive an honorable mention state ranking as a junior and a no. 3 seed in sectionals as a senior. He scored 27 goals and 23 assists in his high school career, scoring nine goals as a junior. He was team MVP as a senior, an all-conference selection and was named all-area by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. He was also all-conference as a junior. He plays club for the Milwaukee FC Bavarians, a team that was the national amateur champions in 2002 and advanced to the round of 16 in the 2003 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. He was a member of the National Honor Society and won the President[apos]s Award for Outstanding Academic Excellence in high school.

Personal: Born June 29, 1985, Walton is the son of Tom and Mimi Walton. He has a younger brother, Jack. Walton majored in business.
