Finished Notre Dame's National Catholic Invitational's 5 mile course in 25:42.1 placing him 15th overall and third for Marquette... Was Marquette's top runner and seventh overall at the Bradley Pink Classic after finishing the 8k in 24:45.3... Took second at the Jack Jennett Invitational in the 600-meter run where he also set a career-best (1:22.63) ... Placed third in the mile at the Mark Messersmith Invitational with a time of 4:17.36 ... Took third in the 3000-meter run at the John Tierney Quadrangular and set a personal-best time (8:37.76) ... Finished fifth place at the Meyo Invitational in the 800-meter run February 5.
Outdoor (So.): Started off the outdoor season with a first place finish in the 5,000-meter run (15:11.79) at the Drury Hotels Joey Haines Invite ... Also participated in the 800- and 1,5000-meter runs and the 4x800 relay ... Placed fourth at the BIG EAST Championships with his 4x800 relay team (7:34.58) and fifth in the 800-meter run (1:52.40) ... In the 4x800 relay, he ran the anchor leg to lead the team to a third-place finish with a time of 7:42.39 ... Set another freshman record and notched the fifth-fastest time in program history with an 800-meter run time of 1:51.48 at the GVSU Big Meet (Feb. 13) ... Took home a pair of first-place finishes in the 800-meter run at the Wisconsin Open (Jan. 17) and Jack Johnson Classic (Jan. 30) ... Placed second in the mile at the John Tierney Triangular (Jan. 23) with a time of 4:17.33.
