Indoor (Fr.): Competed in five meets during his indoor freshman season ... Placed sixth in the 800m with a time of 1:57.09 at the Blue & Gold Invitational (Dec. 6) ... Took sixth in the 600m with a PR time of 1:23.67 at the Black & Gold Premier (Feb. 1) ... Set a PR in the 800m (1:55.85) at the GVSU Big Meet on Feb. 14 ... Took 11th in the prelims in the 800m (1:56.12) at the BIG EAST Indoor Championships (March 1).

Prior to Marquette: Lettered three times in track and field and twice in cross country at Warren Township High School under coaches Bill Dawson and Joshua Williams... Two-time captain in both track and field and cross country... Earned all-conference accolades in the 4x400, 4x800, 800 and 1,600... Achieved All-State honors in the 4x800... Personal-bests of 0:51 (400), 3:25 (4x400), 1:55 (800) 4:26 (1600)... Had a time of 7:50.61 to finish fourth in the state in the 4x800... This was also a school-record for best time in this event.

Personal: Born on November 30, 2000 in Highland Park, Illinois to Jean and Richard Holland... Has one older brother, Brendan... Plans on studying communications at MU.
