The 2023-24 season marked the fourth year for Tiasha Gray on the Marquette women's basketball staff. She is responsible for the design and distribution of recruiting materials, social media content creation and the day-to-day behind the scenes operations within the program.
Marquette made history during the 2023-24 season with the best start in program history at 12-0. The Golden Eagles were one of 10 teams in the country to go undefeated in nonconference, including winning the Fort Meyers Tip-Off over Thanksgiving weekend.
The Golden Eagles earned an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament with 23 wins and finished tied for third at 11-7 in the BIG EAST with St. John's and Villanova.
A 2016 graduate of Austin Peay State University, Gray played on the women's basketball team there from 2012-16. A 2014-15 first team All-OVC selection, Gray was also named the league's Defensive Player of the Year. A four-year contributor at APSU, Gray averaged over 20 points per game in her final two years of college, shooting over 41% from the field and 35% from 3-point range.
After her college career ended, she played professionally for four years in Sweden (Mark Basket and Hogsbo Basket), Israel (Bnot Herzliya) and Finland (Peka). Gray was the Swedish Damligan League’s Most Valuable Player in her rookie campaign, leading the league in scoring and steals in 2016-17.
During her time overseas, she also did freelance work, including graphic design, web design and highlight videos.
A Clarksville, Tennessee native, Gray attended Clarksville High School before starting her collegiate career at Austin Peay State University in 2012.
