Julianna Shearer is entering her second season as a volunteer coach for the Marquette women’s lacrosse team.
A former player for the Golden Eagles, Shearer was an all-BIG EAST attacker who played for coach Meredith Black from 2014-17. She ranks among the top players in Marquette history in several career statistical categories, including ranking fourth in goals scored (115), free position goals (20) and shots on goal (182), fifth in shots (252), sixth in draw controls (104) and ninth in points (128).
As a senior in 2017, Shearer led the BIG EAST with 55 goals as she earned First Team All-BIG EAST honors and was selected to the IWLCA Senior All-Star Game.
In her current role, Shearer primarily works with the attack unit and helping the team to maintain a strong and multifaceted offense.
A native of Westminster, Maryland, Shearer earned bachelor's degrees from Marquette University in business administration, information technology and marketing. She is currently pursuing an MBA from University of Maryland, and will graduate in December 2022.
