Sofia Heaps is entering her second year as a student manager with the Marquette University women's lacrosse team.
A sophomore at MU, Heaps is majoring in environmental engineering and is scheduled to graduate in 2024.
Originally from Pittsburgh, Pa., she played lacrosse from the time she was four years old until she graduated high school. Heaps played club for TLC, True Lacrosse in addition to playing for Oakland Catholic High School.
Her parents, Robert and Alessandra, live in Pittsburgh. She also has one brother, Samuel.
