Ellie Adams enters her second season as director of volleyball operations at Marquette in the fall of 2023.
During her first season in 2022, Marquette set program records in NCAA Division I for overall victories (29) and conference wins (17), while Adams helped the Golden Eagles to their third conference championship and an appearance in the NCAA Sweet 16.
Adams concluded her playing career at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside in the fall of 2021 after a four-year career at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point (2017-20). She graduated in May 2021 from UWSP with a bachelor’s degree in marketing and is currently working on a master’s of sport management degree from Parkside.
Adams served as team captain at Parkside in 2021 and was a two-time team captain in Stevens Point. She was a WIAC First Team selection with the Pointers in 2019 and an honorable mention all-league pick as a sophomore in 2018.
During her one year at Parkside, Adams served as an intern for the associate athletic director for advancement and partnerships and worked on the facilities and event operations staff. She also served in a managerial role for department’s team-issued jerseys and equipment. Adams held similar roles during her time at UWSP.
Adams is a native of Racine, Wisconsin and is a 2017 graduate of William Horlick High School.
