Ashley Roberts joined Marquette University Athletics as an Athletics Communications Assistant in August 2026.
Before arriving at Marquette, Roberts served as an Athletic Academics Graduate Assistant at Austin Peay State University, where she provided academic guidance and support to student-athletes while partnering with compliance personnel to help ensure they remained academically eligible and in compliance with NCAA, conference, and university regulations. She also assisted in managing student-athlete branding initiatives and educating student-athletes on compliance expectations surrounding Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) activities and opportunities.
Prior to her role in academics, Roberts served as a Sports Communications Assistant within the Communications Department at Austin Peay State University, where she played a key role in the strategic promotion of Governors Athletics. In this position, she managed the creation and distribution of athletics media content across multiple platforms while overseeing official NCAA live statistics and statistical operations for men's and women's basketball, softball, and women's tennis.
Roberts earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Human Performance in 2023 before completing a Master of Arts degree in Communication with a concentration in Marketing Communication from Austin Peay State University in May 2026.
