Danielle Young is entering her second year as Head Coach of the Marquette Dance Team in the 2026-27 season.

Young earned her bachelor's degree from UW-Madison in human development and family studies. She then continued her studies at the University of San Diego, completing her master's in counseling.

During her time at Madison, she was a collegiate dancer in both the Dance Elite Club team and the UW Dance Team, which placed top 10 at UDA nationals.

Young has professional dance experience with the Milwaukee Brewers Diamond Dancers, worked as a Badgerette Pom Pon staff member and camp instructor for 3 years, and has worked as a regional pom and dance judge for over a decade.

Young currently resides in Milwaukee with her three young boys and works as a College and Career Counselor at St. Thomas More High School in Milwaukee.
