Former Golden Eagle standout Emma (Soccodato) Granger is in her first season as an assistant coach for her alma mater in the 2027 season after being named to the staff in July 2026.

During her playing career at Marquette from 2019-23, Granger served as team captain during the 2022 and 2023 seasons, earning Second Team All-BIG EAST honors in 2022 and First Team honors in 2023. Her 125 career draw controls also ranks ninth in program history.

Granger was recognized as a BIG EAST All-Academic Team selection, Athletic Department Honor Roll member, Academic Honor Roll member and Dean's List honoree multiple times in her career, and graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in Entrepreneurship in 2023 before completing her MBA in 2024.

Before arriving at Marquette, Granger competed for Team Italy at the 2017 Women's Lacrosse World Cup, becoming the youngest player at age 16 to compete in the tournament.

Granger returns to Marquette after one season as the head varsity lacrosse coach at West Bend High School in West Bend, Wis. In that role, she managed day-to-day operations, planned and ran practices, coordinated fundraising efforts, and worked with athletes, families, school staff and community supporters. The program achieved its first winning season during her tenure.

In addition to her coaching experience, Granger worked as a Buyer/Planner in Supply Chain at Golden Pet Manufacturing and previously served as a Valuations Analyst at Gordon Brothers while completing her MBA.
