Jaime McGaver is entering her 17th year at Marquette in 2024-25 and is the Assistant Athletic Director of Compliance.
In her role, she oversees Marquette's student-athletes, athletic staff members, and boosters’ compliance with BIG EAST Conference rules and NCAA regulations. She also serves as the sport administrator for men's and women's tennis.
Prior to Marquette, McGaver worked as a compliance intern at UW-Parkside in 2006 and a compliance intern at Northern Illinois University in 2007. She remained on staff at NIU until 2008 as an academic coordinator for student-athletes.
McGaver graduated cum laude in 2004 from Marquette University with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in both history and secondary education. She was a member of the Marquette women's soccer team from 1999-2002, worked for the Marquette women's basketball program as a student manager/practice player during the 2002-2003 season, and was a Program Assistant for the Athletics Facilities and Events Department from 2000-2007. She was awarded the Marquette Athletic Department's Cura Personalis Award in 2004.
In 2007, McGaver earned her Juris Doctorate from Marquette University Law School and received a Sports Law Certificate from the National Sports Law Institute.
McGaver serves on the Board of Advisors for the National Sports Law Institute and the Board of the Sports & Entertainment Law Section of the State Bar of Wisconsin. She is a member of Women Leaders in College Sports and a member of the National Association for Athletics Compliance, serving on their Legislation and Governance Committee. McGaver is also an adjunct professor of Sports Law at Marquette University Law School.
She is a Milwaukee native and currently lives in Glendale with her husband Steve, son JJ, and daughter Charlie.
