Sam Lebowitz currently serves as Assistant Director of Sports Performance at Marquette University. In his role, he works with the women’s lacrosse, men’s and women’s tennis and men’s and women’s cross country teams.
Lebowitz arrived at Marquette after spending two years at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. During this time, he worked as the Director of Strength and Conditioning. He was primarily in charge of men’s basketball, men’s soccer, women’s volleyball, and track and field.
Prior to Milwaukee, Lebowitz served as both Assistant and Director of Strength and Conditioning at the University of California, Riverside. During his six-year tenure at UC Riverside, he trained all sports teams. While in California, he also earned his master’s degree in exercise science from California Baptist University in 2019.
Lebowitz is originally from Fayetteville, New York and now resides in New Berlin with his wife Jess.
