Women's Cross Country Takes 12th At Roy Griak Invitational

FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn. - The Marquette University women?s cross country team followed last week?s win with a strong showing at the Roy Griak Invitational, hosted by the University of Minnesota. The Golden Eagles finished 12th out of 25 teams. Arizona State claimed the title with 53 points. They were followed by Brigham Young (73 points) and Minnesota (165 points). The Golden Eagles finished with 281 points.
Freshman Jessie Swan paced the Golden Eagles for the second consecutive meet, finishing 34th with a time of 18:28. Marquette's Susan Barth came in just after Swan, placing 35th. Sara McCullough also added a 62nd place finish with an 18:50 mark. Duke?s Sheela Agrawal claimed the individual title, with a time of 17:31.
