Marquette Wrestling Places 12th in Wheaton Invitational

WHEATON, ILL. - Wheaton, Ill.- The Marquette wrestling team finished 12th out of 29 teams with 40.5 points in the Wheaton Invitational at Wheaton, lll. on Sat., Feb. 6. Missouri Valley would win the tournament with 133 points. The Golden Eagles placed one wrestler in the tournament's semi-final. Senior 157-pounder Neil Posmer (Algonquin, Ill./Jacobs) improved his individual record to a team-high 23 victories, with three wins in the tournament before falling to Whaeton's Dan Weber in the semi-finals. Marquette next hosts Lawrence University at the Marquette Gym on Thu., Feb. 10.
