Marquette Holds Off Florida Gulf Coast

The Golden Eagles bounced back from Saturday's loss to get their first road win this season on Thursday, a 5-2 victory over Florida Gulf Coast. With the win, Marquette improved to 4-1 on the season.
With help from the doubles teams, the Golden Eagles got off to a fast start. All three doulbes teams won their matches.
Justin Holsen won the first set of his match before dropping the second. He finished strong in the third set winning by a close 7-6 margin.
Peter Mojzis and Raj Gill both handled their opponents with ease, winning in straight sets.
The Golden Eagles will continue their tour of Florida with a match against Conference USA opponent South Florida on Friday, February 9.
