Golden Eagles Drop Final Regular Season Match

The Marquette women's tennis team ended their regular season on a sour note, dropping a 6-1 decision to Conference USA rival Tulane. Marquette now stands at 6-13 on the season and 3-2 in conference play.
Marquette got off to a good start following a tie-break doubles victory by Eva Trujillo-Herrera and Anna Pavlovic at No. 2 doubles. The victory allowed the Golden Eagles to secure the doubles point.
After the doubles play, the Golden Eagles were swept away by the Green Wave as Marquette saw Tulane sweep the singles competition with every match won in straight sets.
The Golden Eagles will await to hear their seeding in this coming weekend's Conference USA tournament hosted by Southern Miss. The seeding will be announced Tuesday.
