Men's Tennis Team Comfortable at Home

Marquette men's tennis had a strong showing today at the Marquette Invitational.
Sophomore Raj Gill, playing in the number 1 position, defeated Robert Shamelikan of Wisconsin Green Bay in straight sets, 6-3, 6-2.
In the No. 2 position, MU junior Justin Holsen defeated Eastern Illinois' Brendan Blankensbaker 7-6, 6-1.
Marquette junior Kent Davies took the third position, defeating Mario Panzek of Bradley University, 7-6, 1-6, 10-8.
In his Marquette debut, sophomore Creighton Macy defeated Mike Walz of Bradley, 6-0, 6-0. Also in his first match freshman Joe Bates defeated Murza Mahic of Valparaiso, 6-1, 6-0.
The Marquette Invitational continues tomorrow, with matches starting at 8 a.m.
