Marshall Named C-USA Player of the Week

CHICAGO - Marquette senior forward Eric Marshall (Brookfield, Wis.) was named Conference USA Men's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Marshall joins Troy Perkins of South Florida, who was Conference USA Defensive Player-of-Week.

Marshall netted two goals and two assists in Marquette's wins over Louisville and Charlotte last weekend. In the Golden Eagles' 2-0 home win over the Cardinals on October 15, Marshall assisted on both of the game's goals. In last Saturday's 3-1 win over Charlotte at home, Marshall scored Marquette's final two goals. His first goal broke a 1-1 tie and his next tally sealed the win for the Golden Eagles. Marshall contributed six points last week, raising his season totals to 11.

The Golden Eagles play at 11th-ranked Wis.-Milwaukee on Tuesday, Oct. 22, at 3 p.m.
