MILWAUKEE (AP) - As usual, Dwyane Wade was the man for No. 14 Marquette.
Wade, the Golden Eagles' leading scorer in every game this season, scored 29 points in an 89-57 victory over Elon on Saturday.
The 6-foot-5 guard went 11-of-16 from the field and had three assists, two steals, two rebounds and one blocked shot.
"Taking a week between games, we were anxious to get going, but it was hard at first," Wade said.
Robert Jackson had 20 points and eight rebounds for Marquette (7-1), which shot 53.8 percent from the field and outscored Elon 27-3 on points off turnovers.
The victory extended the Golden Eagles' home winning streak to 22 games, their longest since winning 23 straight in the 1995-96 season.
"I'm not going to be disappointed about anything," Marquette coach Tom Crean said. "But we'll continue to look at things we can improve on."
Gary Marsh scored 17 points before fouling out for Elon (4-3). No other player had more than eight points for the Phoenix, which is in the midst of a seven-game road trip.

Wade had 16 points in as many minutes in the first half. He scored eight straight points to start a 20-0 run late in the first half. The Golden Eagles led 19-13 when Wade made four field goals, including two 3-pointers.
Steve Novak's two free throws capped the run and gave Marquette a 39-13 lead with 1:17 left.
Elon failed to score a point in a span of 7:41 and had just one field goal in the last 8:39 of the half. The Phoenix went 0-for-8 from 3-point range and shot just 30.4 percent from the field.
"We're not a team right now that can dig down and get a defensive stop when we're not scoring," Elon coach Mark Simons said. "Their size and strength inside wore us out. That was the difference in the game."
