Michaela Courtney Makes NCAA Qualifying Mark

A select group of Marquette Track and Field athletes wrapped up competition at the ISU Classic on Saturday. Leading the way for the Golden Eagles was sophomore Michaela Courtney, who broke her own school record in the Mile Run, at 4:45.40. Courtney?s time bested the 4:48.40 mark required to earn NCAA Provisional Qualifying.
Heidi Lindeman also posted a notable finish, in the top ten of the 3000 Meters, with a time of 10:00.98.
The track teams are back in action February 21, when they visit cross-town rival UW-Milwaukee.
