Men's Tennis Falls to UAB

The six-seeded Golden Eagles, playing outdoors for the first time since the fall season, see their record fall to 6-5, 0-1 in C-USA action.
Coach Steve Rodecap said that he saw no difference in the level of play against third-seeded UAB
?For some reason we were kind of flat today,? Rodecap said. ?I didn?t feel like it was any different than the better competition we?ve faced earlier in the season. I just didn?t feel like we played particularly well.? v Starting out in doubles play, Marquette dropped all three spots and entered singles matches down, 0-1.
The Golden Eagles were swept in their singles matches, each being decided in two sets.
Marquette now takes on Charlotte (1-6, 0-1) at 8 a.m. at Tulane?s Goldring Tennis Center.
?Tomorrow hopefully will be another opportunity to redeem ourselves a little bit. Charlotte?s good,? Rodecap said. ?It?s a match where we can put ourselves in a good position to take.?
