| Muscles Used | Primary: Infraspinatus, supraspinatus, teres minor, subscapularis |
| Starting Position | Standing with one shoulder into the wall and the other shoulder facing out. Relax the arm agains the wall and place the other arm at a 90-degree angle. |
| Description | Push the arm away from the body. |
| Spotting | Provide Resistance on the outside of the hand or wrist. With the other hand, support the exercisers elbow (keeping the elbow close to the body). |
| Points To Emphasize | 1. Keep the movement slow and controlled. 2. The lifter is always pushing the arm away from the body. |
