Manual Resistance Neck Extension

| Muscles Used | Primary: neck extensors |
| Starting Position | lying on a bench or table with your neck muscles in a relaxed position (chin to the chest). |
| Description | Extend your head looking upward, hold this position for at least one count then, recover to the starting position. |
| Spotting | CAUTION! The spotter must be extremely cautious to avoid possible injury to the lifter. Straddling over the lifter apply resistance to the back of the head with both hands. |
| Points To Emphasize | 1. If the exercise is properly performed, you should not be able to raise the weight of your head on the last repetitions |
