4/28/2006 12:00:00 AM | General
| Muscles Used | Primary: latissimus dorsi, rhomboids; Secondary: biceps |
| Starting Position | Lifter sits upright on the floor with his/her right leg extended and the left leg bent. The right arm is extended forward and the left arm is across the lap. |
| Description | Starting at the extended position, pull the elbow back, pause for a moment, then return to the starting position. |
| Spotting | Kneel on the left knee and hold it against the lifter's right foot for leverage. Grasp the forearm of the lifter, use 2 hands if necessary. Resistance is given by pulling on the arm that is being exercised. |
| Points To Emphasize | 1. The lifter's body should remain relaxed throughout the exercise. 2. Keep the arm close into the body throughout the full range of motion. |
