MILWAUKEE, Wis. - The men's tennis team evened up their record to 4-4 today, as they took down Valparaiso at the Helfaer Tennis Stadium.
With a new lineup at two and three doubles, the Golden Eagles did not seem phased by the change, as they dominated at all three positions.
"We are trying to find our best lineup and today was a good opportunity for us to change things up," assistant coach Raj Gill said.
In singles, Stephen Shao and Greg Sirotek both took care of business quickly at two and six, while Niko Boulieris secured the match for Marquette when he defeated Tom Litscher, 6-4, 6-1 at no. 5.
Marquette will look to extend their win streak to three matches as they take on Southern Illinois Friday, March 2 at 4 p.m. and Wright State Saturday at 4 p.m. at the Helfaer Tennis Stadium.
