"It was great to be able to get all our seniors on the court today," said head coach Jody Bronson. "We have a great group of seniors and all of these ladies have given a lot to Marquette."
In singles play, Marquette was outplayed at all six positions by a tough Fighting Irish squad. Elly Strother played well for Marquette at no. 5 but dropped a tight first set, 7-6 before losing the second, 6-2, to Katie Potts.
