?Marquette is 5-0 for the second time in school history. The Golden Eagles last started as season 5-0 in 2004.
? The Golden Eagles improve to 62-10 all-time at the Al McGuire Center.
? The Golden Eagles move to 101-42 in regular season non-conference games under head coach Terri Mitchell, 23-3 at the Al McGuire Center.
? The Golden Eagles scored 80 points for the third time this season, the most Gonzaga has given up this season, however the three-point margin of victory was the slimmest of the season.
? Marquette outscored previously unbeaten Gonzaga, 47-38 in the second half to earn its fifth straight win. Marquette overcame a 35.3 shooting percentage in the first half to make 46.7 percent of its attempts in the second half.
? Marquette registered 43 rebounds to mark the fifth consecutive game it has pulled down at least 40 rebounds.
? Sophomore Paige Fiedorowicz led Marquette for the second time this season with a career-high 21 points.
? Marquette had five players in double figures for the second time this season; Fiedorowicz (21), Robinson (13), Thomas-Johnson (13), Ellis (12) and Jones.
? Freshman Georgie Jones' finished the game with 12 points, seven rebounds, two blocks, one assist and one steal all without turning the ball over in 26 minutes of action. She registered career highs in points, blocks and minutes played.
? Sophomore Angel Robinson registered her first career double-double as well as the team's first scoring 13 points and career-high 11 rebounds. Robinson is also the second player this season to record double-digit rebounds.
